The position will involve:
- Solicit New and Existing Customers For Freight (50+ calls per day)
- Manage shipping and carrier relationships
- Negotiate Rates
- Post Available freight with DAT/ITS
- Track shipments and provide updates to the customer
- Generate business leads
- Cover Shipments with Carriers
- Good knowledge of lanes and freight industry
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Must be Sales Minded and driven to be the best and succeed
- Must be **trustworthy and honest**
- Must ensure that our customer and carrier experience with our company is a great one.
- Ability to keep accurate and professional notes in CRM
- Strong telephone skills and written communication
- 2 years proven freight experience – preferred
- Ability to multi task with attention to detail
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills
- Highly reliable with excellent attendance.
